Bought it to use as back up hard drive. At first I used it as an internal, than using an external convertor, used it as an external hard drive when the computer I was using it on started to die. Managed to back up almost everything, this hard drive saved my day.

Please note that this Scorpio WD1200VE spins at 5400 RPM instead of 7200 RPM. This is the replacement of my old 40GB 4200 RPM Hitachi Travelstar hard drive.
