THE GOOD NEWS AND THE BAD NEWS
Strengths: Well built, can run with many OP Sys including a Non-Raid, quiet, fast and rated at 1.2Million Hours, 5yr Warranty. Does not time out fast like most server or Raid drives so it can repair bad sectors
Weakness: Not burn in tested, had one of 2-drives fail in 1st week. Warranty you must pay to return ship & no live person only Answering Machine or Email for returns took 2days to get back for a return.
Toshiba has no test programs so you must use Seagate's Sea Tools or Hitachi's Test Programs to verify and repair this drive. It is still a better drive than anyone else and is an excellent price for a HD meant to run continually. I had the Philippine manufactured drive. There Thailand plants were under 2-3 meters of water and I would not want one of those drives for over one year from...
