It generates virtually no heat emissions, yet is still capable of delivering on the SATA/300 data transfer rates. The MMCRE64G5MPP-0VA is an MLC - Multi-Level Cell, which makes it perfectly suited for consumer applications. It cost less to manufacture and offers nearly twice the storage density of a single level cell (SLC) Flash memory!
