I placed this drive into an external Bytecc USB enclosure for some extra hard disk space on my notebook. The Notebook is louder than the drive. It is really quite quiet. So far, everything is working great. Highly Recommended.

even though this hard drive is advertised as being factory refurbished, it appears to have never been used. It did not come in the original box, but was sealed in an anti-static bag. maybe it was just an overstock thing. i ordered it on Tuesday AM and received it Wednesday AM.

I was replacing my old IBM Travelstar 20GB with this one. This one is faster, more quiet, lighter, generate less heat comparing to my old IBM. It is very easy to install to my DELL C610. It is a bargain for this price.

Purchased this drive with 5400rpm speed and a 8MB cache as a replacement for my Fujitsu Laptop's original broken Toshiba 40GB 4200rpm drive. The new drive seems to be faster and quiet compared to the older one. So far so good.

I bought this drive about one and a half month ago as a replacement for my old drive, which I was told was broken. It works well in my notebook. However, since I found out that my old drive was still OK, I put the new drive in an enclosure. It works find in the enclosure. Very quiet and is much fast then my old 20G hard drive.

Having used this drive in my Acer Travlemate 270 laptop for over a year, I'd recommend them. It has worked flawlessly and quietly ever since I installed it. I used it to upgrade the size of the original 20Gb drive that came with the laptop, and it was a good choice that I have been very happy with ever since.

It is a 5400 rpm hard drive for latop and showed a good performance. I copy the system to it and the boot-up time reduce at least 120 secs! Great choice!

Plus it comes with a 3-year warranty,I am totally satisfied with it.
