Strengths: The first thing I noticed is that it is very bright and crisp. I like the ability to raise and lower the monitor height to suit my purposes. 90 degree rotation is awesome.
Weakness: Due to the vast amount of desktop realestate, I was forced to download a large vivid curson in order to keep track of my mouse pointer. (Sarcasm of course..) The driver CD is lacking functionality.

Strengths: "Magic rotation" is a great feature; I use it to set two of them side by side for editing. When rotated in portrait position, a full page (8.5x11) document can be viewed in comfortable font size.
Weakness: Reliability is a concern for this model, though Samsung is a good brand. I had to return twice: one with fuzzy picture, the other a red strip in the screen. Better buy from a local store in case ....
With two of these monitors set side by side, it is better than having a 24-inch wide-screen for multi-windows operation. When both are rotated in portrait position, you can see full page of document without needing to scroll the mouse--a plus for "paste and copy" editing.

This is a great monitor for surfing the internet or watching dvd's with it wide screen, 1600x1200, 5ms, and DVI. I also have the Viewsonic VX924 monitor, but I like this Samsung monitor better for watching movies. The display is bright and vivid. I highly recommend this monitor.

Strengths: VERY BRIGHT, VERY CLEAR, 1600x1200 solid resolution. Does not weigh much at all, lighter than 15" & 17" units. Very little case area on sides of screen. Over-all a perfect buy even at list price.
Weakness: Only 1, when using 1600x1200 the monitor narrows the image a 1/4 on each side of the screen. So, when at 1600x1200 you really have about a 19.6" viewing area.
If you use 1600x1280, you won't see the bottom of the screen, but the entire 20.1" viewing area is being used. And there is no function to "stretch" the image as with a CRT when using 1600x1200. However, for this quality of Monitor It's not a real issue, just wasn't expected.

I am very impressed with this monitor. The colors, depth, refresh, and clarity are better than my current Viewsonic Ultrabright, A90f+. CRT type. Am considering buying another Samsung for gaming.

Great monitor but has compatibility issues with Mac...
Strengths: Superb picture.
Weakness: Has "blackouts" with Macintosh G5's.
I hooked this monitor up with my Macintosh G5 1.8 gig with OS 10.4 (Tiger) and although it's superb most of the time, it randomly has "blackouts" where the screen flashes black for a second. This problem has been noted on the Apple forum website under G5, Monitors, as several purchasers reported the same problem.
