Strengths: Very clear stable display, crisp, good color, many useful adjustments
Weakness: can't think of any really, except lack of a guard to keep things like dropped pens from flipping up from desk and hitting or possibly damaging the screen (I made my own Lexan guard)
I bought a 191T (black) in Dec 2002, liked it so much, last week (Aug 2003) I bought one for my daughter, and a second one for myself to use in a dual-monitor CAD station in my office. This monitor model is much brighter and has better contrast than various other LCD makes I could see in person in local stores. It's more expensive than some other makes, but well worth the price. Amazing how much...
Strengths: Bright, sharp, decent looking, reasonably priced
Weakness: Pivoting only works with OS9.
I've used this and a Cinema Display 22, and some CRT's. The CRT's have the most depth of image and show the most complexity and uniform color, but they are not nearly as bright. With shades drawn or at night, where space is no object, the CRTs are best. Otherwise the Cinema display is the most pleasant because it is smoother and less harsh than the 191. But the 191T is a really nice monitor, very...
Strengths: Good Colors, Good Text. Even small text is very readable.
Weakness: I personally can't think of any.
I have had this LCD for about 6 months now and am very, very pleased with it. Great Color and great text. It enhances my computer experience every time I use it. Looks as good today as when installed. I looked at a lot of other models before buying the Samsung 191T, and this product seemed best of all models looked at, and has proven to be just that.
Strengths: Bright, excellent display, pleasure to view DVD, play games, and anything you can think of.
Weakness: none so far
I read all the reviews where people had problems with ghosting during games. I am a regular gamer and all FPS and sports games come out excellent. Such little ghosting that I never even noticed. Showed display to friends to find ghosting during game play and no one could find anything. As far as DVD viewing and regular internet use, this thing is a beautiful display. Still and moving pictures...
Strengths: No dead pixel, clear & vibrant image & colors, super sleek, space saving design. Very thin/compact, light for the monitor size.
Weakness: None so far and none at all perhaps
Everything is perfect. Price was also great. Go for 213t if $ is not an issue, but as it is, as much as it is tempting, it is rather expensive for 2" difference. I also have Samsung harddrive(super quiet)and samsung wireless phone, love them all! Go Samsung :)!
Strengths: Slim design. Exellent image quality. DVI support.
Weakness: None
I had this monitor for past two months. It produces much better video quality then Viewsonic VA720. If your video card supports DVI, that's the way to go. I've been playing MOHAA with ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and graphics are amaizing.
Strengths: Luminous dazzling colors, thin frame, silver, easy to adjust.
Weakness: None
I own a Sony sdm-s91 which is also a 19” flat panel display, and I must say the Samsung emits a much cleaner and crisper image on the screen. I use the Digital connection, the analog is good enough. I would advise this to anyone looking for such a product. I particularly enjoy the tilting feature allowing you to tilt the monitor; I use it to view pictures that have been taken vertically.
Strengths: Price, clarity, Samsung reputation
Weakness: ghosting
Just purchased this unit and am returning it. The clarity was excellent, and size/finish perfect but noted a severe ghosting problem with (at least) this unit. I was able to connect it digitally simultaneously with my other Samsung LCD (Syncmaster 770TFT----excellent unit) analog, and even though I don't do gaming, just manipulating still pictures across the screen in Photoshop it was very...
Strengths: Desing is good and simple. The performance is better.
Weakness: It is some heavy.

Strengths: NO eyestrain, pivot feature, vibrant colors!
Weakness: None
Now I know a lot of you have been complaining about the ghosting, but I have found a fix to that. I play Rainbow Six 3 rabidly, and it looked awesome with my CRT monitor, but that thing was a huge oaf. I got the 191T for my birthday (after pleading for it) and I booted up raven shield for a test. It was GHOSTING ALLLLLL OVER.... BUT I went in the NVIDIA control panel and set Direct3D to use a...
