Sony makes it easy to use this as well as their other products. One reason for purchasing the camera (DSC_T1) was because of the memory stick, it's capacity and it's ability to be used in other Sony products as well.
Strengths: Huge Storage for both photos and video clips. Fast Access. Great Quality. Quaranteed work in MS Pro devices.
Weakness: Proprietary - can't use with other brand devices. High price with Sony as usual.
This is a fast transfer flash memory. Also with MagicGate, it can store video clips by my Digi-Cam. This is a much better feature than regular MS. I have been using this item in my DSC-P72 and have had absolutely no problems; And it's the price which we have to pay for the "Sony Style". Overall I have been very pleased with this purchase!
Strengths: Very reliable; manufacturer well-known for quality products... very easy to use, excellent with product/model compatible products.
Weakness: Downside to being made by repuatble manufacturer is that the product is normally more expensive than competitors products.
Excellent for those who hate having to assure compatibilty tests (etc); easy to use and allows for huge/vast memory space- pictures, videos (etc). Also you (definetly) get the "rest assurance" of knowing that this product's reliable, proven and tested by the best.

the memory stick was easy to load in the camera and start taking pictures. using windows XP, it was very easy to upload pictures to my computer. also, memory stick fit in my printer and i was easily able to print pictures.

Make sure your electronic appliance is Memory Stick Pro compatible. Earlier versions of Sony electronics may not be. Also, when purchasing higher capacity memory stick (e.g., 256/512 MB, 1GB, etc.), make sure your Sony appliance is compatible with higher capacity memory sticks.

when i first received and tested out my new 512mb memory stick, i thought that this was the best thing i have purchased for my cybershot digicam until i attempted to upload the images. for some reason, an error message continues to pop up on my printer (it has the built-in slots where you can easily/conveniently insert the memory stick for a quick upload) and on my PC (when i attempted to upload...
Strengths: Good size...let's me shoot hundreds of pics on my Sony 5MP digital cam. I have this 512MB plus 2 256MB cards.
Weakness: A little pricier than other media...that's the bad thing about Sony products, they only use Sony propreitoy media
Awesome size...small enough, but not so small that I'm concerned to loose it. About the size of a piece of chewing gum. This is the new Sony MS, they are black instead of the old purple color. Looks a bit cooler I suppose.
Strengths: I always go for Sony products as I can count on their quality.
Weakness: At about 200+ pictures of 3.2 megapixel, it said out of disk space and I had to reduce the resolution to 2 megapixel. The pictures take longer to load for preview after clicking than say a 16MB stick.
Works for what I got it for but I thought I would get more pictures on this stick. I only wish I didn't have to wait between clicking pictures for the time it takes to load. I have a DSCP72 Sony digital camera.
