4GB Extreme 4

Strengths: Fast, fast, fast, and reliable

Weakness: none.

It is pretty simple. If you need a fast and reliable card get this or the extreme 3 version. I have been using SanDisk flash memory for many years and I have never had any issues. I shoot wildlife and sports on a regular basis and the increased speed over the standard cards is a lifesaver. Highly recommended!

Sandisk Extreme IV 4.0GB

Strengths: This product used with the camera listed below has proven to be a great match!!!!... At about 20,000 exposures I have yet to have any problems in recording images or transferring to my PC.

Weakness: As many reviewers will point out... the 40MB/sec spec for read/write speeds is nearly unattainable. Caused by most dSLRs inability to write the information at this speed. BOTTLENECK!!!!

I am using this memory card with a Canon E Rebel Ti (standard 18-55 lens). I have been able to reach all of the camera speed specifications as far as shutter speed etc. I am very happy with the memory card, as it has delivered reliable service up until now. I recommend this product or any of the other SanDisk cards like the III-series.

Weakness: Made in China

This card is very fast comparing to my Lexar Platinum 2GB. I used this on my Canon XT and it was difficult to see the speed difference, but it was clearly faster transferring files on USB 2.0 to my PC. I think the XT does not write that fast to take full advantage of this card. It was an excellent deal for $65 after rebates.

i needed a faster writing card for my alpha 350 because the camera captures alot of info. 14.2 mega pixels. this card allows me to take pictures faster because of it's writing speed.

Works like a charm in my D300. Responds fast! SanDisk is one of the few brands I trust. I recommend that you spend the extra money to get a high-quality memory card.
