Weakness: None so far, I'm very satisfied :)
I bought this card for my new Canon SD200 camera. Works very well with it. I did a few hours of research before I bought it. I found another brand that was a lot cheaper (only $6, can you imagine that!!), but didn't have as good of a review. SanDisk is an above-average brand and it is a good price for the quality. If you want something better, you can try Lexar, with its high price, of course....
Strengths: Great Buy - 100% Reliable
Weakness: The bad part: it is NOT 256 Mb in capacity but 'only' 240 Mb (probably because 16 Mb are necessary for system files or something like that.
I use it on my Palm Tungsten T and it works wonderful as an mp3 player. It holds about three cd's of music at CD quality. Definitly by an SD card reader/writer, because transfering files using the dock takes a long time.
Strengths: Compatability, Warranty.
Weakness: It isn't an Ultra that is faster, and burns less battery.
This memory card can be used for PDAs and for digital cameras, and probably more. I bought mine for a Kodak camera that does 5 megapixel pictures. I debated between the 512M and the 256M. I bought the 256M because two of it equaled the price of the 512M, and I felt that might be better than one big chunk of memory. I did this comparison at the store, but looking at PriceGrabber's prices, the...
Strengths: Small, Affordable
Weakness: None (as for now)
Purchase the Sandisk SD becuase the price was good, and on top of it, it came $10 rebate. Also, Sandisk provides a guarantee compatibliity, which it is compatible to all digital camera, handheld , and mp3 players with a SD-compliant slot.
Strengths: Will replace the product
Weakness: The card corrupts files
This card would not work from the moment I bought it. I am using it in a Treo 600 for mp3 files and other files to view. It would not let me load files and use them on the Treo without them being corrupted and then crashing the Treo. Do they have problems with the 256MB quality, does anyone know if they will fix the quality issues?
Strengths: real cheap in price
Weakness: non yet
I use this card in my f300 digital camera. I get good memory results, I have not lost any data using this card and i am able to take movie as well as still on the same card without loss. I have lost data using movie and still on the 128. I am going to Hawaii in Feb so will put this card to good use and to the max..I will write a review on the performance when i return
Strengths: none
Weakness: as previous reviewers mentioned. This product doesn't work - it looses data
I bought this SD card for my digital camera. First it worked fine. But when I got to about 200 pics the card stopped working. I formatted the card, but the same thing just happend again. I lost many great pictures thanks to this card. Don't buy!! I hope to get replacement from SanDisk and will also perchase from another manufacturer. I'll let you know...
Strengths: Small compact storage for mult-uses
Weakness: none
I have a HP-C30 1 meg. D-Camera, I can fit 588 pics in the Fine mode, over 1000 in the other modes. I have two other "Sandisk" tm cards a 8 meg and a 48 meg. for allmost four years and not one problem. Paul
Strengths: Price, good storage, low power consumption
Weakness: None
Perfect for digital cameras, MP3 players, and PDAs that support SD. I have 3 of these SD cards. 1 in a cell phone, another in a digital camera, and another in a MP3 player. I use these devices heavily and so far, the SanDisk SD cards have been reliable. Great product.

SanDisk 256MB Secure Digital Card
Strengths: Price
Weakness: Speed but that's the price trade-off...
I was looking for a cheap but relatively large SD memory card for my average digital camera. This product foots the bill very well with no compatibility problems.
