Weakness: Heavy, Needs room, Requires a serial port to hook up to the motherboard.
Love this idea for notebooks...I have been in contact w/HP to see if there is a workaround for the serial port problem. Perhaps a USB replicator. I will be keeping this unit in anticipation of an upgraded notebook or an adapter.

Strengths: Convinience of use
Weakness: Not what I would call a true expansion bay because the ones I'm accustomed to using the type that all you do is click into place. This one requires manual connection to a plug.
I like the abilty to be able to tilt the screen and the many ports that come with it. The wireless keyboard and mouse are also a great feature and have a nice range. THe laptop I have has a 17" screen so I can sit on my bed and leave the laptop on the desk (about 10" away). Althought I would like to purchase the external drive, it is too pricey compares to others available with more drive space...
