Strengths: 1) fast processor 2) huge hard drive 3) lots of ports
Weakness: 2) graphics card 2) a bit noisy
I've had this computer for 2 weeks now and I'm very happy with it. I did a lot of research and chose this one because of the 4400+ processor and large hard drive capacity. I was nervous about switching to Vista but I've had no problems with it so far. It is a memory hog and I might consider adding some more memory. I also installed a wireless adapter which was extremely easy to do. I am also...
Strengths: Easy to set up, comes loaded with tons of features, very quick processor and tons of RAM. Also has a pretty good sized hard-drive.
Weakness: Windows Vista will take some getting used to, which is not necessarily a weakness. Could have some better on board speakers, but what can you expect...
I bought this computer for college and so far it's been great. Comes loaded with all the HP games, which are kind of kiddie, but might be fun anyways. Having two gigs of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive along with the duo core processor really takes the performance up another notch. All in all a great buy for the price you pay. Probably one of the cheapest good-quality desktops for college students.
Strengths: fast, 2GB memory and huge hard disk
Weakness: 250W power supply, HP installs a ton needles trail software, no OS install CD/DVD, does not run with WinXP because drivers aren’t available.
I both it 10 weeks ago getting some flight simulations up and running. However, VISTA eats most off the performance so far. I had tried to install XP with SP2 but HP does not support you with XP drivers for the graphic and network card. I had considered upgrading it with a better graphic card but you need a bigger power supply badly because it comes with 250W only. 3D graphic cards require 300W...

Strengths: New Vista program is very comprehnesive, retains features of earlier software
Weakness: New arrangement of componets difficult to find at first, but convenient once the new locations are learned.
Pc bought as part of a bundle of PC, monitor and all-in-one printer. Store had to substitute a different monitor. There was no sound after the PC was booted up. Store tech could not determine problem, nor could the CompUSA tech find problem. PC exchanged for a like model; but same problem. After much consternation, it was determined that the substitute monitor's built-in speakers were not...
