Amazing iMac Core 2 Duo desktop!

Strengths: Fast. Reliable. Great design.

Weakness: keyboard not good for someone who's used to laptops. Not enough RAM slots. Limited upgradeable parts.

So far so good. It is reliable like the Macbook Pro C2D that i have. Bright screen. Fast processor. Does its job. Good pricing. But, keyboard is awful so i replaced it with the Macally IceKey which is a slim keyboard with laptop style keys.

Strengths: very fast. extremely quiet!

Weakness: no firewire 800 ports

Well I must say; I was a bit skepitical about this all in one imac. I would recommend this computer to anyone who is getting into the mac world. I am a sound editor, and musician who works with pro tools and it handles all of mys sessions so far no problem. Obviously if you are a video editor handling files 80 gb up you are going to need somthing much more than this but if you are into tracking...

very good value and very capable family computer

Strengths: * includes pretty much everything you need * separate graphics card * beautiful design * space saving

Weakness: * limited expandability * ports are difficult to access * small display

The more I use this, the more I'm amazed as what it can do. At first glance, it's an all in one computer, no big deal. But when you realize that it comes with a webcam (isight), dual layer cd/dvd burner (superdrive), a good graphics card (128mb ATI Radeon X1600), decent size hard drive (160GB), wireless card (airport extreme - 802.11n capable), multimedia suite of applications (iLife), a remote...

Strengths: Design, Speed, Configuration, Works right out the box,Mac OS

Weakness: Upgradeability, Lack of ports, 90 day tech support.

I use both Mac and Windows and therefore can understand the strengths and weaknesses of one versus the other. That being said, there aren't any systems that even comes close to what iMac has to offer. If you a compare a similarly configured Dell or Hp you will notice that the iMac is priced similarly (in some cases cheaper) than the PCs. The system is extremely fast, except when running non-native...

Love my iMac

Strengths: Great design, well laid out desktop, ease of use, ultra ultra quiet,

Weakness: Well, I can't carry it in my pocket.

I am a 4th generation mac user and lover. They only get better with time. This one is eay to use, plug it in and you are up and running. We have 2 in our family and only derive good work and great pleasure from them. We are not geeks and don't need to Make our computer do anything we dream up; with an iMac, we can do all sorts of creative things w/o bothering. I made a movie from a slideshow of a...
