Description
The ConnectPRO MT-606-1 is a USB to PS/2 keyboard and mouse signal converter. It is designed to allow a PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse to be used through a single USB connection. A typical use can be simply to connect a PS/2 type keyboard and PS/2 type mouse to a computer, which only has USB ports available on the computer. In this case, the USB end of the MT-606-1 would be connected to a USB port on the computer and the other end, which has PS/2 connectors, is where the PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse will be connected. Another use would be when there are two cross-platform systems, such as a USB and a PS/2, requiring connections to a Master-IT PRO PS/2 KVM switch. The MT-606-1 would then be used as an adapter to connect the USB computer to a PS/2 type KVM switch such as a Master-IT PRO KVM switch.
